The patient’s venous blood is sampled for centrifugation in a special test tube; in the process the plasma enriched with platelets is separated from red blood cells and white blood cells and injected subcutaneously using a syringe by micropapular way.
If necessary local anesthesia is used due to which the patient does not experience any pain.
The procedure is absolutely SAFE:
- there is no allergy as the patient’s own tissues are used
- there is no possibility of transmission of infection with blood, since again, patient’s own (homologous) blood is used
- there are no side and systemic effects like the effect on the liver, kidneys and other organs as is the case with some drugs
- minimum amount of possible complications
